Been slacking... again...

...And yet again it's because I feel guilty for not having done things I need to do!! (This is becoming a bad habit. Maybe I need to take a hiatus from custom orders, as they tend to leave me frozen like a deer in the headlights! A little prodding now and then does me some good, but maybe I need a break from it.)

Despite my absence, I have been doing things-- clay-related things-- but I've been holding them back out of guilt. Well, no more. It's time to make an effort to get back into the swing of things.

So-- starting with a little effort--

Here's a mini hot dog I made a while back:

I think I've already decided that mini hot dogs are not my favorite thing to make. On the other hand, maybe I just need a break from the minis.

This hot dog is only about 3/4 of an inch long-- but that's still gigantic by some standards. I don't see how the 1/12th and 1/24th scale people do it. I suppose there's less need for some of the fiddly details when you're working on such a small scale, but still!

Thanks!
Just followed the link over to your blog, too. What a fun idea, illustrating each post with clay like that! :o)
